Agensi Pekerjaan PMA Sdn Bhd ("PMA", "we", "us") operates pmaagensi.my. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data in accordance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

This policy applies to:

  • Prospective employers who submit enquiry forms on this website
  • Clients who engage PMA for domestic helper placement services

Personal data of domestic helpers (job seekers) placed by PMA is handled under a separate data processing agreement as part of the placement process and is not covered by this website privacy policy.

2. What Personal Data We Collect

When you use this website, we may collect:

  • Contact details you provide: name, email address, phone number, submitted through our enquiry form or WhatsApp contacts on this site
  • Message content: the text of your enquiry
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, visit duration — collected automatically via web server logs and analytics tools

We do not collect sensitive personal data (as defined under the PDPA) through this website. We do not use tracking cookies beyond what is necessary for site functionality and basic analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use personal data you submit to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide information about our services
  • Follow up on your placement interest where you have indicated this
  • Maintain a record of correspondence for service continuity

We use technical/analytics data to:

  • Understand how visitors use our website so we can improve content

Under the PDPA, we process your personal data on the following bases:

  • Contractual necessity: If you become a client, processing your data is necessary to perform the placement service you have contracted for.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Enquiry data is stored on PMA's internal systems. We retain contact and enquiry data for 3 years from last contact unless you ask us to delete it earlier.

Technical/server log data is retained for up to 90 days.

We do not store payment card data on our systems. Payments, if any, are processed through separate secure channels.

6. Data Sharing

We share personal data only where necessary:

  • Within PMA: Data submitted to one branch may be accessible to other branches if you enquire about services in a different location.
  • Sending-country agents: If you proceed with a placement, relevant employer information is shared with the licensed recruitment agent in Indonesia or the Philippines as required by the MOU/POLO process.
  • Government authorities: We share data with JIM (Immigration), JTKSM (Labour Department), FOMEMA, and other regulatory bodies as required by law for permit processing.
  • Service providers: We may use third-party tools (e.g., web hosting, analytics) that process data on our behalf under data processor agreements. These providers do not use your data for their own purposes.

7. Your Rights Under the PDPA

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate personal data
  • Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal)
  • Request deletion of your data where we have no legal obligation to retain it
  • Object to processing for direct marketing purposes

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. We will respond within a reasonable period and no later than 21 days.

8. Website Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4. Analytics data is processed to understand traffic patterns and page performance. If you use a browser-based ad or tracking blocker, analytics may not record your visit — this does not affect your ability to use the site.
